Our Vision

BBC&S LLN aims to create an environment within the Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull area that promotes equitable access to all levels of higher education for vocational, work-based and career orientated learners.

BBC&S LLN is working towards establishing and delivering parity of esteem between academic and vocational learning pathways into Higher Education.

One of the main areas of our work is the development of Progression Agreements in conjunction with our FE, HE and work-based learning partners. A Progression Agreement is an arrangement between colleges and universities which spells out the value of a vocational qualification so that learners can see how to progress onto a higher level programme.
